Although situated in a serene corner of Thassos our Gagos Studios and Apartments have everything you may need in easy walking distance from mini markets, taverns, bars and cafes but best of all you are really amongst some of the best nature and unspoilt beaches Thassos has to offer.

Astris beach is 50 metres away but a short walk will find you at Salonikios Beach which is still largely undiscovered and offers pristine waters for bathing, white sand and some rock pools where if you like snorkelling you will be well rewarded. If you prefer something more lively, including water sports and scuba diving there is Psili Ammos beach where the party never stops and the feeling is totally tropical! 5 kilometres from Psili Ammos will find you in Potos which moves to its own unique beat 24 hours a day…..

Going in the other direction from Gagos Studios after 7 kilometres you will reach the Archangel Michael monastery which is perched on vertical cliffs with open views over the Aegean to the holy mountain of Athos, truly breath taking. A couple of kilometres on from the monastery you will find the magical, mystical beaches of Aliki which is rich in ancient history and has some of the best fish restaurants Thassos has to offer.
